This is a 1920s era chemise styled slip made of fine white lawn cotton.  The slip is embroidered with blue padded squares and drawn thread “fagoting” at the upper centre.  It has spaghetti straps and is made in a short length.  It has a pleat at the centre back.

Sizing:  No size is indicated, but I think that this would fit a medium size - please note the following measurements for fit, taking into account that this should be comfortably loose:

Bust:  38” around

Waist:  40” around

Length:  32 1/2” long from the top of the strap to the hemline, measured flat

Condition: It has an old P shaped stitched repair at the lower side, otherwise, clean with no other wear, tear, staining or odor.

This is a wonderful flapper era slip - lovely cotton, very pretty!
